The Giving Tree

for Chobani

For Chobani's 10th anniversary, HUSH transformed the iconic Vanderbilt Hall of Grand Central Station into a magical "Giving Tree".

This one-of-a-kind digital canopy, composed of original artwork from Chobani's recent rebrand, allowed the transit-focused public an opportunity to stop and plant "seeds". Each seed represented a flavor of Chobani yogurt, exploding overhead in a kinectic shower of fruit.

Most importantly, Chobani partnered with No Kid Hungry: for every seed planted, Chobani would donate a case of yogurt. We recorded 21,812 seeds, equaling 261,744 cups of yogurt donated.

Designed and engineered at HUSH. Built using C++/Cinder. Six trailers and 24,000lbs of equipment. Deployed in Vanderbilt Hall, Grand Central Station; New York, NY.
